Clay County, Florida
Clay County is just southwest of Jacksonville in northeast Florida. Green Cove Springs is the county seat, right on the St. Johns River. The area has a mix of suburban neighborhoods and rural spots.
Military families are a big part of the community here. Orange Park is the largest town, with plenty of shopping and restaurants. The county has some nice parks and boat ramps. Locals enjoy fishing and boating on the river.
Don’t get confused because Clay County isn’t made of clay. Instead, it’s a bedroom community for many who work in Jacksonville. Clay County is growing fast with lots of Florida sunshine.
