Gogebic County is up in Michigan’s western Upper Peninsula. It’s a place where nature rules and hikers thrive. Freshwater lakes cover a large part of the county.

Forests stretch for miles. In winter, snowmobilers and skiers flock to the area, while summer brings hikers and anglers. The county seat, Bessemer, has a rich mining history.

Lake Superior’s southern shore forms the county’s northern border with even nicer beach walks. From waterfalls to wildlife, Gogebic has it all. Wisconsin is its friendly neighbor to the south.
