Otsego County, Michigan

Otsego County sits right in the heart of Northern Michigan, a place where the great outdoors is practically your backyard. Gaylord is the county seat, which is known as the “Alpine Village”.
Though you won’t find any actual Alps here. What you will find are rolling hills, dense forests, and more lakes than you can count on both hands. It’s a four-season playground.
Winters bring heaps of snow, perfect for skiing and snowmobiling. When summer rolls around, golfers play at the area’s championship courses. The Pigeon River State Forest is a huge draw. It’s home to one of the largest free-roaming elk herds east of the Mississippi.
