Sanilac County Map, Michigan

Michigan’s thumb has a hidden gem. That’s right, it’s Sanilac County. This part of the Great Lakes State hugs the shore of Lake Huron.

Schoolcraft County is in the heart of the Upper Peninsula. This outdoor lover’s dream is a stone’s throw from three of the Great Lakes.

Shiawassee County is in the middle of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Corunna is the county seat, but Owosso is the largest city in the county.

St. Clair County is in eastern Michigan, along the shores of the Lake Huron and Lake St. Clair. It’s positioned just across from Canada.

St. Joseph County is down in the southwest corner of Michigan. Sturgis is the largest city here but Centreville is the county seat.

Tuscola County sits just south of Saginaw Bay with all of its rolling farmland and shores along Lake Huron. Caro is the county seat.

Michigan’s southwest corner is home to Van Buren County. You’ll find it hugging the shore of Lake Michigan, just north of the Indiana border.

Southeast Michigan’s Washtenaw County blends urban buzz with rural charm. Ann Arbor is the county seat, home to the University of Michigan.

Detroit, the Motor City, sits at the heart of Wayne County in southeast Michigan. Motown’s roots run deep with a rich automotive history.

Wexford County sits in the heart of northern Michigan, about an hour southeast of Traverse City. Cadillac is the county seat.

Aitkin County is up in north-central Minnesota. It’s a place where lakes and forests go on forever with Mille Lacs Lake as a highlight.

Anoka County sits in the east-central part of Minnesota, north of the Twin Cities. The county seat is the “Halloween Capital of the World”.

Becker County lies in the heart of Minnesota’s lakes country. It’s about 45 minutes east of Fargo-Moorhead in the western part of the state.

Beltrami County is up in northern Minnesota. Like a lot of Minnesota, it’s where forests and lakes dominate the landscape.

Central Minnesota is home to Benton County, a place where the Mississippi River winds its way through the western border.
