Buena Vista is an independent city in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It’s located in between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Maury River. It spans only 7 square miles.
The city is located near the George Washington National Forest. It’s also home to Southern Virginia University. The city hosts the annual Labor Day Festival, a local favorite with parades, music, and fireworks.
