Dakota County, Minnesota

The Twin Cities metro area sprawls southward into Dakota County. It’s the third most populous county in Minnesota, sitting just southeast of Minneapolis and St. Paul. People here enjoy the best of both worlds.
They can catch a Twins game downtown, then drive home to acres of farmland or quiet suburban streets. The Mississippi River forms the county’s northeast border with scenic bluffs and riverside parks.
Lakeville has great schools and even better fishing lakes. Eagan is the largest city and is a hotspot for tech companies and outlet shopping. But drive a few miles south and you’ll find yourself surrounded by cornfields and old barns.
