Indian River County, Florida
Indian River County stretches along Florida’s Treasure Coast. The county got its name from the Indian River Lagoon. Citrus groves are everywhere on the landscape but there’s less than in years past.
Sebastian Inlet draws surfers from all over with its consistent waves. You’ll find some of the state’s wealthiest enclaves here, hidden behind gated communities.
Vero Beach, the county seat, has a mix of beach town vibes and cultural attractions. Downtown Vero Beach has a growing arts scene and quaint shops. Pelican Island, the nation’s first wildlife refuge, sits just offshore.
