Kent County, Delaware

Kent Location Map Delaware

Kent County is in the middle of Delaware. It has a small-town feel and lots of farmland. This county is quieter than its northern neighbor, New Castle County. Beaches are just a short drive away.

Dover, the state capital, calls Kent County home. Historians love it here with lots of sites from the American Revolution or Civil War. The Air Force base brings a dash of military pride to the area.

The Delaware State Fair lights up Harrington every July. You’ll find a slower pace of life here, but don’t mistake that for dull. This is because Kent County has lots of character.
