Warren County is at the northern end of the Shenandoah Valley. It’s where the Shenandoah River meets the Blue Ridge Mountains. Front Royal, the county seat, is a gateway to Shenandoah National Park.
The county has a rich Civil War history. Several battles were fought here. Warren County has been around since 1836, carved out of Frederick and Shenandoah counties.
