Shenandoah County, Virginia

The Shenandoah Valley is something special, and right in the middle of it all is Shenandoah County. It’s in the northwestern part of Virginia, bordered by the Blue Ridge Mountains to the east and the Allegheny Mountains to the west. Talk about views!
This place has been around since 1772, so it has stories to tell. Woodstock, the county seat, is a nice little town with a big heart. You can’t miss the old courthouse. It’s a real looker. And let’s not forget the Civil War history. There’s plenty of that to go around.
The county has a mix of farmland and forest, with the Shenandoah River winding through it. It’s apple country here, so don’t leave without trying some local cider. Outdoor lovers will feel right at home with all the hiking, fishing, and camping options.
