Aroostook County is Maine’s northernmost and largest county, stretching across a vast expanse of forests, farms, and lakes. It borders Canada to the north and west. Despite its size, Aroostook is sparsely populated.
The locals call it “The County,” and it’s a place where potatoes reign supreme. You’ll find endless fields of spuds here, along with some of the friendliest folks you’ll ever meet.
