Bossier Parish, Louisiana

Bossier Parish sits in northwest Louisiana, right across the Red River from Shreveport. It’s a place where old meets new, like Benton (the parish seat).
Bossier City, the parish’s largest town, has grown from a sleepy suburb into a bustling hub of casinos and entertainment. But drive a few miles out, and you’re in farm country.
The parish has deep military roots thanks to Barksdale Air Force Base. You’ll see those huge B-52 bombers flying overhead sometimes. The Red River forms its western border.
