Brookings County, South Dakota

Brookings County sits in eastern South Dakota, a stone’s throw from Minnesota. You’ll see cornfields for days, but there’s also a surprising amount of tech companies.
It’s home to South Dakota State University, founded in 1881. The Jackrabbits is the name of the college team. Yep, they are a big deal around here.
Brookings is the county seat and has a nice downtown. They’ve got a children’s museum that’s pretty cool. Outdoor type of people love the county’s parks and trails. Not a bad combo, if you ask me.
