PHYSICAL MAP
Cass County Topographic Map
The land here is Cass County. It’s classic Red River Valley terrain. Elevation barely changes across the county. But even a small slope matters for drainage. Though mostly uniform, subtle rises appear west of Fargo. The river cuts a faint trough through the eastern side. So, what it lacks in elevation, it makes up for in fertile soil.

TRANSPORTATION MAP
Cass County Road Map
Cass County has a busy network. Interstate 94 slices across the southern half, while I-29 runs north-south. Despite all this, many local roads crisscross farmland in a perfect grid. Fargo’s city roads are more dense and complex. Still, rural highways dominate outside the urban area.

Fargo pops out clearly from above. It’s dense, gray, and sprawling in the east. In contrast, the countryside is mostly all fields. Long, straight roads slice through the crops. The Red River also carves a green line on the eastern edge. Even small towns look tiny compared to the farmland.
