Edgefield County, South Carolina

Edgefield County sits in western South Carolina, right on the Georgia border. This place has a wild history. It’s known as the “Home of Ten Governors”. Yeah, ten South Carolina governors came from here.
The town of Edgefield is like stepping back in time. Old buildings, antique shops, the whole nine yards. It’s also the county seat. But the county is also big on agriculture these days.
Peaches are a big deal. So are turkeys, believe it not. They’ve got a cool museum dedicated to wild turkeys. Yep, it’s the only museum in the world dedicated to wild turkey restoration.
