Grand Isle County, Vermont

Grand Isle County is the smallest county in Vermont, made up of a handful of islands in Lake Champlain. Yep, islands. It’s in the northwest corner of the state and it’s unique.
Summers are busy with tourists and “flatlanders” from nearby states. Winters? Quiet and beautiful. The county’s big draw is its state parks and it’s perfect for camping, fishing, and beach days.
Grand Isle, North Hero, and Isle La Motte are the main islands. Farming and tourism keep the economy going. It’s small, but Grand Isle County packs a punch.
