Johnson County is Kansas’ suburban powerhouse. This is the richest county in Kansas. It’s basically a suburb of Kansas City with Overland Park as the biggest city.
This place has got money, nice houses, good schools, and lots of shopping. It’s not all fancy though. There are some older, more affordable areas too.
There’s always something going on here. Lots of parks and trails. The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is nearby if you’re into culture. As one of the most populous counties in Kansas, traffic can be a pain here. With a population of nearly 630,000, it’s the most populous county in Kansas.
