Le Sueur County, Minnesota

Le Sueur County is just an hour southwest of the Twin Cities. It’s where the big city vibe starts to give way to proper Minnesota farmland. Le Sueur’s the namesake town, famous for the Green Giant. Yeah, that Green Giant.
The Minnesota River forms the western border, popular with canoeists and fishermen. Lakes are everywhere. German Lake is a local favorite for swimming and picnicking.
The county has some serious history. Don’t miss the Le Sueur County Pioneer Power Show if you’re into old tractors and threshing machines. It’s a big deal around here.
