Chippewa County, Minnesota

Chippewa County sits in western Minnesota, bordering the Minnesota River. It’s farm country here with lots of corn and soybeans. It’s a quiet place, but that’s how the locals like it.
Montevideo is the county seat and is where most folks live and work. It’s a friendly town with deep agricultural roots. This county has weathered droughts, floods, and everything in between.
There’s not much nightlife, but community ties run deep. On Fridays, you’ll find half the town at high school football games. The other half? Probably fishing on Lac Qui Parle.
