Morris County, New Jersey

Morris County is in the heart of North Jersey. It’s where history meets high-tech. Morristown is the county seat, which was Washington’s headquarters during the Revolutionary War. Now it’s home to sleek office parks and Fortune 500 companies.
The county has some serious natural beauty too. Lake Hopatcong is New Jersey’s largest lake, which is perfect for boating and fishing. You’ll find plenty of hiking trails in the Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area.
Morris County’s towns each have their own flavor. Madison has a quaint downtown and Drew University. Parsippany is all business. Chester is known for its antique shops. The area isn’t short on culture either. Check out the Mayo Performing Arts Center or the Morris Museum.
