Orangeburg County is right in the middle of South Carolina. It’s known as “The Garden City” due to its beautiful roses and azaleas. The county has a rich history, playing a significant role in the Civil Rights Movement.

Orangeburg is home to two historically black universities: South Carolina State and Claflin. Agriculture is big here. Think sweet potatoes and cotton.
