Sequatchie County, Tennessee

Sequatchie is in southeast Tennessee, not far from Chattanooga. The Sequatchie Valley is something else. It runs right through the middle of the county, flanked by mountains on both sides.
Dunlap is the county seat. You got it, small town, big heart. This place is a nature lover’s paradise. The views are incredible, especially in fall when the leaves change. Sequatchie has some great hiking trails.
Agriculture is still important. You’ll see plenty of farms in the valley. The Sequatchie River is great for fishing and kayaking. If you’re into hang gliding, Sequatchie is a hotspot. They even host competitions.
