Blount County, Tennessee

Blount County is located in the eastern part of Tennessee, just south of Knoxville. The Great Smoky Mountains serve as a stunning backdrop for this county.
Maryville is the county seat with an exciting downtown. Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a major draw. The Little River runs through the county, offering great tubing and fishing spots.
Townsend bills itself as the “Peaceful Side of the Smokies.” And it lives up to that name. The area is rich in Cherokee history that you can still feel that influence today. It’s like stepping back in time.
