Solano County, California
Solano County is where the Bay Area bleeds into the Central Valley. You’ve got Vallejo with the Six Flags park. There’s also Fairfield, home of the Jelly Belly factory.
The population is about 450,000 people, with thriving communities in cities like Vallejo, Vacaville, and Benicia. Travis Air Force Base is a bit noisy at times.
Interstate 80 runs through the county, making it a key route between San Francisco and Sacramento. I’d say the county has a split personality. It’s part suburb, part farm country.
