Sutter County, California
Sutter County is this little slice of farm country in the Sacramento Valley. Yuba City is the main spot, which is right across the river from Marysville. The Sutter Buttes stick out like a sore thumb. They call them the world’s smallest mountain range.
It is mostly orchards and rice fields and there are lots of peaches and prunes. It floods sometimes, so they have got these big levees everywhere.
There is not much nightlife. But if you are into bird watching, the wildlife refuges are pretty cool. It is quiet, it is rural, and that is how most folks here like it.
