From above, Cleveland’s dense urban grid dominates the northern half. Roads, rail lines, and buildings cover it thickly. Yet even in the city, parks and greenbelts stand out. The Cuyahoga Valley in the south shows up as a long, wooded strip. Lake Erie forms the edge along the top of the county.
