Darlington County, South Carolina

Darlington County sits in the northeastern part of South Carolina. It’s known for its rich racing heritage. NASCAR fans come here for the Darlington Raceway, home of the Southern 500.
But there’s more to this place than fast cars. The county’s got a bunch of small towns with that classic Southern charm. Hartsville is the biggest city with a nice downtown and some cool local shops.
Fishing’s big here too. You can catch bass in the many ponds or try your luck in the Great Pee Dee River. The area’s history goes way back. Check out the Darlington County Historical Commission if you’re curious.
