Gallatin County, Montana

Gallatin County is a long, narrow county in the southwest corner of Montana. It’s where cowboys rub shoulders with college kids and tech entrepreneurs. Bozeman, the county seat, is like a magnet for outdoor people and ambitious startups. It’s got this cool vibe that’s hard to pin down.
The Gallatin River cuts through the county, offering some of the best fly fishing you’ll ever experience. Seriously, it’s bucket list material. Big Sky Resort is a stone’s throw away, where powder hounds get their fix on world-class slopes. The Museum of the Rockies is a must-visit, with its impressive collection of dinosaur fossils.
You might even bump into a Hollywood star or two. They tend to buy ranches around here. Yellowstone National Park is right next door, which means geysers, hot springs, and bison jams are part of everyday life. It’s a place where the Old West meets the new, and somehow, it just works.
