Glenn County, California
Glenn County is pure agricultural country in the northern Sacramento Valley. It’s bordered by the Sacramento River to the east and the Coast Ranges to the west. This makes it a scenic but quiet spot.
The town of Willows serves as the county seat and is known for its friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Highway 5 slices through the county, keeping it connected but not overcrowded.
If you’re into birds, check out the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge in the southeast of the county. It’s a pit stop for millions of geese and ducks.
