Mendocino County, California
Mendocino is on the coast, north of San Francisco. It has these cute little towns that look like they’re straight out of a movie.
Inland, you’ve got redwood forests and vineyards. The county is known for its, uh, “alternative agriculture”. There’s a bunch of artists and hippies mixed in with the loggers and fishermen.
The coastline is stunning. It’s all cliffs and crashing waves. Fort Bragg has this cool beach made of sea glass. If you like your beaches rugged and your towns artsy, check out Mendocino.
