Greenlee County is Arizona’s least populous county, with only about 10,000 people. It’s located in the eastern part of the state, bordering New Mexico.
Clifton is the county seat, and Morenci is home to one of North America’s largest copper mines. The mine is a major employer and shapes much of the county’s economy.
The landscape is rugged, with mountains and canyons. The Blue River and San Francisco River are good for fishing. Hunting is also popular here.
