Houston County, Tennessee

Houston County sits in the northern part of Middle Tennessee, near the Kentucky border. It’s small. Really small. In fact, it’s one of the smallest counties in the state.
But don’t let that fool you. What it lacks in size, it makes up in Irishmen. The Tennessee River forms its western border, creating some killer views. Hunting’s big here. Deer season is practically a holiday.
Erin is the county seat, throws a mean Irish Day Celebration every March. You can thank the Irish settlers for that one. The land has a wild beauty to it. Hills, forests, and farmland stretch as far as the eye can see.
