Humboldt is home to the Frank Gotch State Park, named after the famous wrestler. The West Fork of the Des Moines River runs through the county, including Humboldt. 

It’s a quiet community with easy access via U.S. Highway 169. The Three Rivers Trail follows an old railroad bed, perfect for bikers. Humboldt County may not make headlines, but it’s the part of Iowa that reminds us of our connection to the land.
