LaSalle Parish sits in the heart of central Louisiana, about 40 miles northeast of Alexandria. It’s a place where the piney woods meet rolling hills, creating a landscape that changes with the seasons.
The parish was named after the famous French explorer Robert de La Salle, who traveled down the Mississippi River in the late 17th century. Jena is the parish seat.
