Lubbock County is right in the heart of the Texas High Plains. It’s flat as a pancake out here. The county seat, Lubbock, is a proper city. It’s home to Texas Tech University and a thriving music scene.

Cotton is big business. You can see fields of white stretching to the horizon come harvest time. The weather here is wild. One day it’s scorching, the next you might see a dust storm rolling in.

Buddy Holly was born here. His legacy lives on in the local music. The sunsets are spectacular, painting the big sky in shades of orange and pink.
