Pima County is in southern Arizona. About 1.1 million people live here. Tucson, the second-largest city in Arizona, is the county seat. The University of Arizona is here.
The county has diverse landscapes, from desert to mountains. Saguaro National Park is famous for its giant cacti. Just like the rest of Arizona, summers are very hot, winters mild.
