Mineral County sits in western Nevada, next to California. Hawthorne is the county seat and has the largest ammunition depot in the world.

Pershing County lies in the heart of northern Nevada. It’s home to the Burning Man festival. Lovelock is the county seat, located along I-80.

Storey County is the smallest county in Nevada. Located just east of Reno, it’s home to Virginia City, once the richest place in America.

Washoe County is up in northwestern Nevada. Reno, the “Biggest Little City in the World,” is the star of the show in the south.

White Pine County sits in east-central Nevada, next to Utah. Ely is the county seat. But Great Basin National Park is the crown jewel.
