White County, Tennessee

White Location Map Tennessee

White County is right in the heart of Tennessee. Sparta’s the county seat. And yeah, it’s named after that Sparta. Visitors might dig the Sparta Rock House. It’s this old stagecoach stop from way back.

The Calfkiller River runs through here. Weird name, I know. It’s actually great for kayaking. White County has some serious natural beauty. Lost Creek Falls is a must-see. It disappears into a cave! Speaking of caves, there are tons around here. The whole area’s like Swiss cheese underground.

The county’s also known for its bluegrass music scene. They host some pretty killer festivals. Oh, and if you’re into motorcycles, there are some amazing rides through the countryside. That’s right. The views are insane.
