Putnam County, Tennessee

Putnam County is right in the middle of Tennessee, about halfway between Nashville and Knoxville. The county has a mix of city life and country living.
Ever heard of Cookeville? It’s the heart of Putnam County. The Cookeville Depot Museum is pretty cool. It’s an old train station turned into a local history spot. Tennessee Tech University calls Putnam home, a public research university in Cookeville.
Putnam has some killer outdoor scenes too. Cummins Falls State Park is a must-visit. It has this awesome 75-foot waterfall you can hike to. You’ll find modern amenities in town, but drive a few minutes out and you’re in farm country. Fall Creek Falls isn’t far either.
