Carbon County, Utah

Carbon County is right in the middle of eastern Utah. It got its name from the coal deposits that once fueled its economy. Price is the county seat with a wild west feel to it.
The College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum is here in Price. Dinosaur fossils, anyone? This place is a rock hound’s paradise. The Book Cliffs stretch across the northern part of the county. They’re a sight to behold.
