Juab County, Utah

Juab County stretches across central Utah, bridging desert and mountains. Nephi, the biggest town, has barely 7,000 people. But what Juab lacks in population, it makes up for in wide-open spaces.
The West Desert dominates the western half. It’s a vast expanse of sagebrush and salt flats. Head east and you’ll hit the Wasatch Range. Visitors come here for hiking, hunting, and ATV riding.
Mining played a big role in the county’s history. These days, agriculture and tourism keep things ticking. It’s the kind of place where you can still see the Milky Way at night.
