Box Elder County, Utah

Box Elder County is up in the northwest corner of Utah, bordering Nevada and Idaho. It’s the fourth-largest county in the state by area. The Great Salt Lake takes up a chunk of its eastern side.
The transcontinental railroad was completed right here in 1869. Brigham City is the county seat. The Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is a must-see for nature lovers. It’s where thousands of birds stop there during migration.
Peach Days in September is the county’s biggest bash. Trust me, you haven’t lived until you’ve tried a Bear Lake raspberry milkshake. Box Elder has a little bit of everything. History, nature, and small towns.
