Colorado Counties

Teller County is just west of Colorado Springs. The county is pretty high up. The country is mostly covered with Pike National Forest.

Washington County is out on the eastern plains of Colorado. Akron is the county seat. There’s not much going on, except a lot of farming.

Weld County is in northeastern Colorado. Greeley is the biggest city here. This county is known for its rodeo and cattle feedlots.

Yuma County is way out on the eastern plains, right up against Nebraska and Kansas. Yuma and Wray are the main towns here.
