Swift County, Minnesota

Swift County is a small piece of western Minnesota that often flies under the radar. It’s just a couple hours west of the Twin Cities, but it feels like a world away.
Farmers here work the land like their grandparents did, coaxing crops from the rich prairie soil. Benson, the county seat, is where most of the action happens.
The Chippewa River cuts through the county, offering lazy summer fishing spots and winter ice skating. You won’t find any big tourist attractions in Swift County. But what it lacks in flashy sights, it makes up for in down-to-earth people.
