Gibson County, Indiana
Gibson County sits in southwest Indiana, next to Illinois to the west. The western border is the Wabash River, and eventually becomes the White River at the fork.
Princeton is the county seat. It’s known for its restored art deco theater and as the birthplace of Toyota’s U.S. auto production. The Azalea Path Arboretum in the northeast is great in spring.
You’ll see a lot of cornfields here, but also some unexpected hills in the eastern part. Owensville claims to be the “Watermelon Capital of the World”. They grow some really sweet ones here.
