Henrico County, Virginia

Henrico County is located just east of Richmond. It’s one of Virginia’s oldest counties, dating back to the 1600s. The James River forms part of its southern border.
Henrico has upscale shopping centers and old tobacco barns side-by-side. High-tech office parks and Civil War battlefields. It’s home to Richmond International Airport, so it’s often visitors’ first taste of Virginia.
The county has great parks. Check out Three Lakes Park if you’re into nature. Henrico’s schools are top-notch. That’s a big draw for families. The area is growing fast, but you can still find pockets of rural area. Historians will love exploring places like the Dabbs House Museum.
