Lincoln County in in southern part of Middle Tennessee, right on the Alabama border. The county’s mostly rural with farmland. But it has its own kind of beauty.
Fayetteville is the county seat and is a peaceful little town. They throw one heck of a Lincoln County Fair every September. Folks come from all over. People here are proud of their community. It shows.
The Elk River is a big draw for fishing and floating. On a hot summer day, there’s nothing better. Visitors might dig the Camp Blount Historic Site. It played a role in the War of 1812.
