The rolling hills of southern Middle Tennessee are home to Giles County. It’s a place steeped in history, dating back to 1809. The Elk River winds its way through the county, offering some prime fishing spots.
Pulaski is the county seat, which has a beautiful courthouse square that’s still the center of town life. You’ll find some great hiking in the nearby state parks. The county’s known for its walking horses. There are actually several breeding farms around.
It’s mostly rural, but there’s a growing arts scene in some of the small towns. Folks here are proud of their Southern heritage but looking to the future too. It’s where you can still find a slower pace of life if you want it.
