Madera County, California
Madera County is in the Central Valley. It stretches up all the way into the Sierra Nevada too. Approximately 100,000 live here. Madera, the main city, isn’t huge, but it has some decent wineries.
The valley part is all about agriculture. They grow a ton of almonds and grapes. But head east, and you’re in the mountains. The county has the southern entrance to Yosemite, which is pretty cool.
Bass Lake is a popular spot for boating and fishing. But the real star is the Sierra National Forest. Madera County is all about balance. Nature and nurture, side by side.
