Miami County, Indiana

Miami Location Map Indiana

Miami County sits in north-central Indiana, where US-24 and US-31 highways intersect. Mississinewa Lake is fun to explore and whip across the open landscape.

Peru, the county seat, is known as the “Circus Capital of the World”. In fact, it was once the winter headquarters for several circuses. You can still catch the Peru Amateur Circus every July.

Grissom Air Reserve Base brings some military presence to the area. Peru is located along the Wabash River, which includes several parks and green spaces. This is a hit with families.
